Invite users

Invite people by email and choose their role in the study group.

The screenshots and example illustrations show the German interface; the instructions and captions follow your selected language.

Send an invitation

As an owner or group administrator, open the “Members” area.
Select “Add User” and enter the person’s email address.
Select the role “Member” or “Administrator”. Members can learn the provided flashcard sets; administrators can also manage the group.
Select “Send Invitation” and check the feedback.

Accept invitation and check status

The invited person opens the link from the email and accepts the invitation. She must use the account with the invited e-mail address.

Open invitations appear in the membership list with the status “Open invitation” and their expiration date. You can revoke it there. Existing memberships and open invitations are taken into account when sending; note the feedback displayed.

Who has already joined?

In the “Members” section, you can see both in a common overview:

Not yet accepted: The row shows “Invitation pending”, the invited email address, the intended role and the expiry date. The person is not yet a member.
Joined: Instead of the open invitation, the member appears with username, e-mail address, role and joining date.

Example: Alex has already joined and has an joining date. The invitation to Sam is still open and shows an expiration date. This illustration shows a simplified interface.

In this example, Alex is already a member. Sam still needs to accept the invitation. An invitation’s expiry date is not a joining date.
