Creating classes and learning groups

Organize classes, courses, or teams as learning groups for your school or business.

1. Create a class or study group

A school class, course or team is led in MemoCard as a study group. As a tenant administrator, open your organization’s learning groups. To create and manage, you need a connection to the service.

  1. Select “Create study group”.
  2. Enter a unique name, such as “Class 2B – Biology” or “Sales – Introduction”.
  3. Confirm with “Create study group” and check the feedback.
  4. Open the created group in the overview.

Use unique group names if you want to assign users later via Excel. The import can assign a group only with a unique name.

Example: Create an organizational study group called Class 2B – Biology. Example: Create an organizational study group called Class 2B – Biology.

2. Assigning students or staff

  1. In the group, open the “Members” section and select “Add Users”.
  2. Search for the desired organization users.
  3. Mark the people with the checkboxes. You can choose multiple users.
  4. Confirm the selection and then check the list of members.

Here you assign existing users to your organization. If a person is missing, check the search and whether he is already a member. Unrecognized people you can first under Add users or per Excel import Create. Group assignment is also possible via the user form.

Example: Select two organization users and add them to the class. Example: Select two organization users and add them to the class.

3. Provide flashcard sets for the class

  1. Change to the “Flashcard Sets” pane and select “Add Flashcard Sets”.
  2. Find the appropriate sets available in the selection and mark them.
  3. Confirm with “... Add flashcard sets” and check the list.

The assignment makes the existing card set available to the group. Removing an assignment in the group does not delete the original card set.

4. Support learning progress and maintain the group

In the “Learning Progress” section, you can choose the time period and view the results of the group up to individual flashcard sets. The meaning of the key figures can be found under Understanding learning status.

You can change and save the group name in the heading via the renaming action. When changing classes or teams, check the members and associated flashcard sets so that the group continues to receive the appropriate learning material.
